Registration forms for the September and October meetings for 2024 will be filled out at the meetings and payment may be made there at the meeting or through Venmo. (Online registration and payment will be available for the November 2024 virtual meeting at a later date). You must fill out a membership form even if you have done so in the past.  Please make sure that your email address is correct and matches what the SDMS has for you so that you will be awarded your CMEs. If you wish to change your email address, please call the SDMS and change it there as well.

Due to recent requests for late registration for the online meetings, beginning in the Fall of 2024 late registration for online meetings will only be accepted with an additional $10 late fee.

Dues are $40 for sonographers and $10 for student members.

The membership year for the GKCSU runs from January through December.  If at any time you are unsure if you have registered and paid for the current meeting year, please contact Melody Scarlett at mscarlett27@gmail.com or any officer at one of our meetings.

1) To pay electronically: Online registration is only available for the virtual meetings. Registration for the September and October meetings will take place in person at the meetings. Online registration for the online November meeting will reopen in November. When attending an in person meeting, fill out the registration form at the meeting and pay there or if you choose to pay online please use Venmo to complete your registration. Venmo name @GKCSU.

 2) To pay by mail: Registration for the September, October and November meetings may still be done by mail. Registration form and payment must be received one week prior to the meeting date.

The Greater Kansas City Society of Ultrasonographers (GKCSU) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ultrasound education. GKCSU strives to provide support, encouragement, and a superior academic environment for ultrasonographers in Kansas City and surrounding areas. The Society offers continuing medical education credits to registered sonographers by offering members up to 12 category A CME credits per year through educational seminars.

The Society strongly supports the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as the credentialing agency for sonographers, and strongly encourages individual support of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS).
